Movement has been a fundamental part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spent eleven years training and competing in rhythmic gymnastics, where I also learned the foundations of ballet. Later, I explored theatre for a couple of years before discovering contemporary dance, which remains my main style and foundation.

While studying fine arts, I took a performance art course that expanded my understanding of the body—not just as a tool for movement but also as a canvas and an artwork in itself. In the past two years (2024 - 2025), I’ve explored other styles, including hip-hop, waacking, and popping. However, it was through The Basement Sessions, a space for experimental dance, that I truly reconnected with my own movement and expression.

On this page, I share both my professional dance work and personal clips that hold meaning for me—moments where movement becomes a form of storytelling, exploration, and artistic expression.

Esta soy yo (This is me) - 2018

"Esta soy yo" (This is me) is a personal project that I created for myself. I developed the concept, directed, and edited it, while also starring as the dancer. Through movement, I used dance as a tool for self-expression and self-exploration, reflecting on my identity and the journey I was experiencing at the time.

"El romance de la pena negra" is a project born from a university assignment to create a visual representation of the poem with the same name. My approach was a video where I translated the poem’s essence through dance and movement, intertwining it with a song I produced from the text. The song combines my singing voice, spoken word, and layered background vocals in different tones, creating an atmospheric interpretation of the poem’s emotions. (2018)
