Details (2019)

This macro-photography series transforms everyday details from public spaces into a mesmerizing exploration. By manipulating scale, the artist distorts proportions, creating a captivating interplay of forms and sensations. The focus is on creating new images that prompt contemplation, transcending the object’s original identity. Each photograph invites viewers into a game of observation and introspection. Making emphasis not only on the contemplation during the photography process but also on how the artist portrays these objects is pivotal to the essence of this work.

Born from spontaneous exercises during walks, the collection captures intimate and profound moments. The deliberate play with scale introduces intrigue, urging viewers to reconsider the ordinary. Enlarged details take on monumental reality, challenging perceptions and encouraging a fresh appreciation for the unnoticed beauty in our surroundings.

Glass (2019)

This photographic series continues the exploration from "Details" but shifts focus into the material. While "Details" was centered on finding everyday elements in my environment, "Glass" focuses on the glass itself and my interaction with it. I manipulated the material—painting, scratching, and breaking it—before capturing these transformations through my own photographic approach. The process blends hands-on engagement with the glass and a thoughtful contemplation, creating a fresh perspective through the lens.
